What happens if I skip the fall blowout?
Water left in irrigation lines freezes and expands over winter. PVC pipe, rotor bodies, valve diaphragms and fittings can crack or split. You won't find the damage until you turn the system on in spring and by then it can be an expensive repair. A blowout is always cheaper than the alternative.
